Podcast 5 is coming soon! We are planning podcast 5. This will be a guest podcast featuring Professor John Semple from St Michael's Hospital in Toronto, Canada. John's principal area of interest is immunology so if you have questions relating to the cause of ITP, role of B cells, T cells and other bits of the immune system email these to us and we will ask him in this new podcast. We will be interviewing him using Skype so it will be an interesting experience for us all! Podcast 4 has been uploaded to iTunes and the education page of our website. Please keep sending questions for us to: requestinfo@ukitpregistry.com* and we will answer these in later podcasts.
We now have a LIVE CHAT program. I have called the first room "General ITP Chat" so please feel free to use it, set up rooms, ask questions of each other and let the PDSA group know as well so they can use it. We will join as time permits but it's for you guys! Note to Mac users, the refresh rate is about 20 seconds and if you use Safari you might see a kind of flash across the browser every time the chat program updates. Better to use Firefox on the Mac (PC seems to be okay). Also note there is a good TUTORIAL which you should read if you're stuck. The chat rooms are here |
