This could turn out to be a silly question but I'm wondering about it these days.

Has anyone ever thought or tested if treatment at a safe platelet level (say 30) might result in a longer-lasting response than treating at very low levels (<10)?

I consider being <10 pretty stressful on the body and mind. I imagine your body is working pretty hard to replenish platelets. It might be akin to pulling a sinking ship out of water that is only 10% sunk versus pulling out a ship that is 90% sunk. The former is much easier and would take less effort.

Any thoughts on this are welcome!
